Buried

I typed out a big long post about this weekend.....and then while trying to close some windows closed the wrong one.
Ill summarize: Lyli's pageant cancelled, so instead of going to the aquarium and staying in southern NH we decided to grab swimsuits and stay in White River Jct. at a hotel with a pool that was closer to home. Because...there was a HUGE snow storm headed toward us (we didn't find out abuot the cancellation until we were in So. NH). We found a hotel, swam, slept and left at 7 the next morning in the snow. We made it home by 9:30 and watched it snow all day, all night and woke up to it still snowing. Mikes tractor is in the shop because the snowblower broke...so..he had to snowblow the driveway by hand. We also had to shovel off the roof....I forgot how unweildy a roof rake is.

yes, there really are two cars under there.......

Zephryn and Lyli outside...Zep is sitting in a hole in the bank....

Looks cold, doesnt it ?

I will not complain about the couple inches we got. You aren't going to melt until June!

Holy avalanche, Batman! Ditto what Gayle said.

You had to shovel your roof??? Ok, I'm going to sit in my sunny living room now and breathe a sigh of thanks to Mother Nature for not snowing on me today. ;)

Wow - now I'm *really* thankful that we're only getting slush. Shoveling the roof doesn't sound like any fun at all. At least the kids had fun and you still have power ;)

That is some snowfall. I have beem lamenting the fact that we have none here, then I see this. That top shot is so spooky.
