And we're done!

Hershey-Pie finally went this afternoon and gave us a beautiful 9lb moorit/gray ram.  Now it's all about growing them out and keeping them from killing themselves in the electric netting.

*Edited to say:

I was wrong, she wasn't done...I went out there an hour later and...Surprise! A little ewe lamb was hopping around.   So..that leaves us with a final lamb count of 14...8 ewes, 6 rams...

Oh and Lord knows if they can find a way to committ sheep suicide they will. Cute, but dumb. Good luck!!

I didn't realize the electric netting could be so dangerous.

Now the real hard part starts, finding homes to sell them to.

Are you going to register them? (I saw you on the CLRC)

I'll evaluate them and any that stand out will be registered...the rest will be sold as meat lambs in the fall.

You know how some women get all hormonal-y and wanting a baby when they see other people's babies? I get that way with your sheep photos: I get all hormonal-y and wanting lambs...specifically lamb chops, gyros, and roasted leg o' lamb. ;)

Congrats on all your lambing success this year!
