pure neglect and red flannel underwear...

I have been neglecting this blog. I'm sure I didn't need to actually tell you that though, did I? I only posted once in November, at that at the beginning of the month...pure laziness on my part. I should be flogged with a wet noodle. Go ahead, I deserve it. I'm not even sure what I've been doing to keep me from posting. I did manage to get fencing up, and the sheep divided into their breeding groups....for a week and a half. Baa'rack Butthead Orama kept climbing the fence and getting into Sonny's area. If Ada and Letisha have lambs, I'm not even sure who the baby daddy is...*sigh*. Bad shepherd, BAD! Keep flogging.

We also managed to get up the little metal shed we bought back in April. It only took us 7 months. You would think something that took that long would be BIG and complicated...but it's not. I can't even stand up in it. I'm too tall. It's just a little tool shed that we bolted to a heavy 2x4 base. Thankfully it is bolted down really well...the wind storm we had three days ago actually slid the entire shed 12" backwards. Yikes. I'm just happy the roof stayed on!

Other than that it has been little things filling up my days. Dentist appointments, Dr's appointments, homeschooling work, swimming lessons, 4H stuff. The things in life that break up the monotony and keep things interesting. Although I'm rather fond of the monotony. In fact after this mornings adventure trying to get down the hill, I think I'd like to stay up here until spring. I think all that flogging might have turned me into a bit of a hermit. I'm all set too, I have a red union suit..you know..with the butt flap? Yea...add the rabbit fur hat to that and a pair of muck boots and I'll make one SCARY hermit....BWHAHAHAHAHAHAHA......scary, aren't I? Maybe I'll hook these two up to a sled and have them pull me up and down the road while I laugh maniacally...
I think it might make the winter go by faster.

..or if you are seen in the sled being pulled by the two outfitted cows in your red suit with tall black boots, well then could you be confused with a certain Christmas persona?

Your two babies are filling out nicely and they look very festive! I'm beginning to think you spend too much time alone when I see pics like this ! LOL

Whatever gets you through the frozen months, works for me! :o)
