A look at my garden

I finally managed to get up to my garden today before my kids got home and take some pictures. For quite sometime I thought we were going to get nothing, it was growing so slow, but this last really rainy/really hot spell has made everything explode!

This is my bean bed..notice the squash? We took some of the dirt from our compost pile...So we have 3 "rogue" squash plants growing in that bed. The beans that actually started growing have taken off! Every time we go up they're taller and reaching out to whatever it can. I can't wait to start harvesting them. Yum!
Summer squashes are growing!

Before...........................................After

Hopefully we'll have a decent harvest...I'm looking forward to canning some fresh veggies for this winter :-)

Stace, it all looks wonderful! I'm so glad things are taking off. I never look forward to the canning, but I sure appreciate all our homegrown goodies in the midst of winter.

Wow, your garden looks great! Our didn't do so well this year. We had cool weather for so long that a bunch of stuff never even germinated, and the things that did are a little behind. Our sugar snap peas should be ready in a week or two, and at this point I'm *hoping* to have ripe tomatoes by the end of August!

Your garden looks great! We've also had cool weather so some of my plants aren't producing. Oh well such is life.
