I went out to check on everyone at 10:45 and Ruthie had a ram lamb on the ground. I went back into the house to grab my "stuff", which took me less than 3 minutes and when I got back out there she had her ewe on the ground and was cleaning her up. You couldn't ask for a better sheep birth! No shoulder length gloves involved :P
The ram is a black/grey I think, there seems to be some "sugaring" around his lips and since both parents are black/grey it stands to reason that he would be too. I'm not sure about the ewe, she might actually be moorit (brown)/grey...I won't know until she dries off a little more.
I checked vulvas and udders again...Darlin' is looking swollen and pink and her bag is hard....Looks like lambing is starting in earnest!!!

I hope all the births are quick and easy, and that bad weather goes away!! Good luck.
I tried to get pictures of my girls today, no luck. It would have been easier to get those kind of pictures at a Convent than with my sheep.
You are off to a good start, here is to health lambs!
Congratulations...on both the new lambies and also on not having to use the gloves! :)
